NEBULOS

Sin retraso y con precisión de relojero, ingresan los locales de NEBULOS al Stage de un Espacio Marina que se empieza a llenar mientras la tarde refresca lentamente en la capital de la octava región. Con una presencia escénica envidiable, el baile de las notas pesadas se deja caer para captar la atención de los fanáticos que demuestran su apoyo desde el comienzo del show. Un debut de dos canciones como adelanto de su próximo trabajo de estudio, toman por sorpresa a los presentes no es para menos ya que “Portals” y “Lost Traces” son una exquisita mezcla de sonido potente y buen gusto.

Entre aplausos y muestras de satisfacción hacia lo recientemente escuchado, Nébulos nos introduce en el intenso universo de “Deimos” cuya composición es una excelente muestra del talento musical que tiene el sur de este largo país. Del disco debut Katharsis, suenan poderosos “The Moment” y “The Last Shining” los cuales hacen mover las cabezas de la concurrencia gracias al vaivén potente, oscuro y bien ejecutado de estas elaboradas composiciones. Nébulos termina su presentación sublime con muestras del cariño del público multigeneracional que se encuentra en el recinto.

LAPSUS DEI

Es el turno de LAPSUS DEI quienes vienen estrenando su nuevo sencillo denominado “Paradises Collapse” la cual interpretaron en la tarima del Espacio Marina luego de lucirse con los conocidos “The Call of Sirens”, y “The Feeling Remains” los cuales se encuentran cargados de tecnicismo y buenas composiciones. De la mano de Martín Morales en la voz, Rodrigo Poblete en la guitarra, José Agustín Bastías en el bajo y Luis Pinto Espinoza en la batería los riffs elongados y los toques de bajo sombríos hacen que la música de la agrupación sea altamente hipnótica.

La soltura escénica es clara muestra de la experticia con la que cuenta el cuarteto. Sus temas “The Last Trip” y “Falling Apart” son un deleite auditivo, mientras que “Arrival” convoca a los presentes a un trance de cuerdas enrevesadas y sonoridades emotivas que erizan la piel mientras caen los acordes resonando potentes en cada pared. En esta primera noche de domingo de marzo, los minutos se convirtieron en música y la música se transformó en Lapsus Dei, una de las mejores bandas que tiene nuestro país en su género.

SOEN

No basta más que bajar las luces y comenzar a escuchar el llamado introductorio que acompaña los conciertos de SOEN para que la multitud comience a gritar incluso antes de que hayan tocado la tarima. La potencia sonora y lírica de “Sincere” atraviesa el aire para colapsar en el coro improvisado del público. Y desde el extremo deseo de sentir algo real en un mundo llenos de emociones vacías, se balancean al melódico sonido de “Martyrs”, del un Lotus perdido en el tiempo pero que es perfecto para acompañar el majestuoso y melódico vaivén de las notas parecen ser una danza entre la banda y sus fanáticos que cantan a todo pulmón. Mientras en la cancha los presentes saltan al unísono, la energía es transportada a un aplauso masivo para agradecer la agudeza vocal de Joel Ekelöf.

La reintegración de Stefan Stenberg en la sensualidad del bajo da inicio a “Savia” mientras que en el fondo, las percusiones a manos de Lars Enok Åhlund consiguen una conversación intensa entre instrumentos que solo se ve interrumpida por la armoniosa voz.

Gritos, aplausos y ovaciones para los suecos que suena mejor que nunca. “Memorial” y “Lascivious” son un éxito seguro en cualquier tarima. Una fusión entre lo nuevo y lo viejo que se entrelazan para hacer del concierto un recorrido por la discografía del quinteto. Un solo de guitarra en medio del stage es ejecutado con gracia y prolijidad por Lars “Bigotes” Enok como antesala de “Unbreakable” el cual es coreado con fuerza por todos los presentes.

Entre “Olé olé Soen” y los estridentes aplausos las horas se continúan de manera pausada y satisfactoria; es que escuchar una pieza maestra como “Vitals” es un regalo para aquellos que luchan con sus nostálgicas agonías. Lágrimas recorren algunos rostros en que sombríos recita la letra del último track del álbum Memorial hasta silenciarse mientras las luces pierden fulgor y suenan de fondo unas sirenas, esas que anuncian un cambio explosivo en el ambiente con “Monarch“.

Tras esa inyección energética se prenden las luces de los celulares de quienes componen un público de primer nivel. Los acordes del piano acompañan a “Illusion” la que es escuchada con sublime respeto y admiración. No todas las canciones son tristes y no todas las lágrimas son de dolor y eso bien lo sabe el Team Soen que se apoya en la reja junto a una bandera negra que lleva plasmada en sí la nostálgica locura hacía cada letra, canción y sufrimiento que la banda les transmite a través de sus instrumentos.

Les continúan “Modesty”, “Lotus” y “Lunacy” en acelerada escalera de precisión técnica, dominio escénico y auténtica conexión con la audiencia privilegiada de ver el último show de SOEN en nuestro país, quizá por algún tiempo más largo de lo acostumbrado. Como siempre “Antagonist” se roba la película haciendo saltar a los contertulios que a esta altura gritan los coros que se elevan más allá del techo del local. Por supuesto que el grito tradicional con los apodos de cada integrante fue uno de los puntos altos de la velada y aunque no exista uno para Stefan aún, el bajista recibe los elogios con humildad y simpatía.

Para cuando el sol ya se ha ido y el frío comienza a aparecer en una despejada noche, “Violence” estremece los cimientos con rudeza para dar un gran final que dejó a cada uno de los presentes alucinando gracias al sonido pulcro que cada banda supo entregar.

Este es un brillante “Hasta luego” con sabor a despedida.

With an enviable stage presence, the dance of heavy notes is dropped to capture the attention of fans who show their support from the beginning of the show. A debut of two songs as a preview of their next studio work, taking those present by surprise is no wonder since “Portals” and “Lost Traces” are an exquisite mix of powerful sound and good taste. Between applause and expressions of satisfaction towards what was recently heard, Nébulos introduces us to the intense universe of “Deimos” whose composition is an excellent example of the musical talent that the south of this long country has. From the debut album katharsis, they sound powerful “The Moment” and “The Last Shining” which make the heads of the audience move thanks to the powerful, dark and well-executed swing of these elaborate compositions. Nebulos ends his sublime presentation with displays of affection from the multigenerational audience in the venue.

LAPSUS DEI

It’s time for LAPSUS DEI who are releasing their new single called “Paradises Collapse“which they performed on the stage of the Espacio Marina after showing off with their acquaintances “The Call of Sirens“, and “The Feeling Remains” which are loaded with technicality and good compositions. From the hand of Martin Morales in the voice, Rodrigo Poblete on the guitar, José Agustín Bastías in the bass and Luis Pinto Espinoza On the drums, the elongated riffs and somber bass touches make the group’s music highly hypnotic. The stage ease is a clear example of the expertise that the quartet has. The sonorous and lyrical power of “Sincere” rages through the air to collapse in the audience’s improvised chorus. And from the extreme desire to feel something real in a world full of empty emotions, they sway to the melodic sound of “Martyrs“, from a Lotus lost in time but it is perfect to accompany The majestic and melodic swing of the notes seems to be a dance between the band and its fans who sing at the top of their lungs. Tears run down some faces as they somberly recite the lyrics of the album’s last track. Memorial until it becomes silent while the lights lose their brightness and sirens sound in the background, those that announce an explosive change in the atmosphere with “Monarch”.

After that energy injection, the cell phone lights of those who make up a first-class audience turn on. Piano chords accompany “Illusion” which is listened to with sublime respect and admiration. Not all songs are sad and not all tears are of pain and Team Soen knows that well, leaning on the fence next to a black flag that embodies the nostalgic madness of each lyric, song and suffering that the band transmits to them through their instruments.

They continue “Modesty”, “Lotus” and “Lunacy” on an accelerated ladder of technical precision, scenic mastery and authentic connection with the audience privileged to see the latest show of SOEN in our country, perhaps for a longer time than usual. As usual “Antagonist” he steals the film by making the audience jump, who at this point are shouting the choruses that rise beyond the roof of the venue. Of course, the traditional shout with the nicknames of each member was one of the high points of the evening and although there is not one to Stefan Still, the bassist receives the praise with humility and sympathy.
