ES: Bellum es una banda de Death Metal de Santiago de Chile, formada en 2005 e integrada por cinco músicos. Su propuesta es rápida, brutal y con una estética marcial/guerrera, enfocada en riffs pesados, batería veloz y un ataque directo que privilegia la contundencia sin perder precisión. En sus primeras grabaciones (demo/EP 2006) la banda consolida un sonido belicoso y disciplinado, con buen fiato y una ejecución sólida.

ES: Voluntad de Poder es el único trabajo de Bellum: un golpe de Death Metal brutal, rápido y cargado de imaginario bélico. Su concepto toma la “Voluntad de Poder” de Friedrich Nietzsche como impulso esencial —la fuerza de mantenerse y expandirse— y la traslada al terreno de la guerra: la justificación del oponente para imponer su voluntad mediante la fuerza. El EP abre con “Fallschirmjäger”, introducido por una banda de guerra que funciona como llamado a combate antes de desatar una descarga de riffs y percusión constante. El cierre con el tema “Voluntad de Poder” subraya el carácter épico y agresivo del lanzamiento, con disonancias trabajadas, batería que no afloja y una guitarra que combina peso y virtuosismo.

Conceptually, it draws from Friedrich Nietzsche’s “Will to Power”—the primal drive to persist and expand—and reframes it in a battlefield context: the opponent’s rationale for enforcing their will through force. The EP opens with “Fallschirmjäger”, introduced by a military-style march that acts as a call to arms before the record unleashes relentless drumming and crushing riff assaults.
